Adaptive Swim Sessions are part of the Therapeutic Recreation Program and are designed for individuals with physical, intellectual, neurological, and developmental disabilities. These inclusive sessions provide a safe, supportive environment to enjoy the many benefits of aquatic activities.
The Spring 2026 program runs from February 4 through April 25, 2026, at the Chatham County Aquatic Center.
Adult weekday sessions - Free to attend
Held every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and include water aerobics, water safety instruction, and free swim.
Children and adult weekend sessions - $5 per participant Feb. 21st 10 AM - 12 PM and Feb. 28th 10 AM - 12 AM
Take place two Saturdays per month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Activities include indoor kayaking and paddle boarding, water safety, basic swim lessons, and free swim.
Weekly registration is required for all sessions.
