Memorial Stadium

Memorial Stadium is an accessible, state of the art sports facility located at 101 John J. Scott Drive, between the major thoroughfares of Truman Parkway, Montgomery Crossroads, and Skidaway Road.  There is ample and convenient free parking around the stadium.

A historic venue in the Savannah area for over half a century, Memoral Stadium was completely renovated and greatly expanded in 2018.  Host to area and visiting sporting events, the new facility features a lighted field with player-friendly, heat-reducing synthetic turf, a digital scoreboard and high-definition jumbotron.  Large grandstands flank the field, seating an audience of 5,000 spectators; one supports a skyview pressbox, and one proudly flies the flags of each division of the United States Armed Forces.  At the north end of the stadium, a handsome bronze and stone monument stands as the namesake Memorial to local lives lost to war from WWI to the present

The newly built James J. Holmes Field House rises behind the south end zone, where visitors can find home team and visitoring team locker rooms, multiple concessions stands and restrooms, and a small sports-themed playground.  The upper level of this structure houses the Parks and Recreation main offices, plus a spacious multi-purpose room outfitted with AV, flexible seating, and large open-air balcony which looks out onto the field from behind the goal posts.  The venue hosts a steady stream of County events and is available to rent for private or community events seven days a week.

Pet Policy: Pets not allowed in park buildings, on athletic fields or courts. 

Service Animals: Allowed when serving in a working capacity in accordance with the Revised Americans with Disabilities Act Service Animal Requirements.
