Frank G. Murray

Since 1998, the Frank G. Murray Community Center has been a hub for wellness, creativity, and connection in Chatham County. Named in honor of former Chatham County Commissioner Frank G. Murray, the center continues his legacy of community service through dynamic, inclusive programs for all ages.

The Frank G. Murray Community Center offers plenty of ways to stay active, get creative, learn something new, and connect with others. Try a yoga, Pilates, line dancing, or chair fitness class, explore an art class, or join in games and activities like Bingo, Relax & Color, and Inspiration Circle.

The center also offers tech help, wellness workshops, community resources, and rental spaces for meetings and events. With so many options, there’s always something new to try.

Know before you go:

Address: 125 Wilmington Island Road, Savannah, GA 31410

Hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday – Friday (Hours vary for programs and rentals.)

Pet Policy: Dogs are not allowed, with the exception of Service Dogs officially serving in a working capacity.

Service Animals: Allowed when serving in a working capacity in accordance with the Revised Americans with Disabilities Act Service Animal Requirements.
