Neighborhood Parks

Chatham County Neighborhood Parks offer options for outdoor recreation within walking distance of eleven neighborhoods scattered throughout the county. Each park is different, but many include playgrounds, sports courts or fields, picnic tables, pavilions, and green space.

Please note that since Neighborhood Parks are primarily intended for those residing nearby, neither parking nor restrooms are provided.

Hours: Open during daylight hours

Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed if on a leash no longer than six feet. Owners must clean up after their dogs and must not leave dogs unattended at any time in or near the park. Pets are not allowed in park buildings, on athletic fields, or courts.

Service Animals: Allowed when serving in a working capacity in accordance with the Revised Americans with Disabilities Act Service Animal Requirements.

Burroughs: 957 Chevis Road, Savannah, GA 31419; 4.5 Acres, includes a parking lot, playground, tennis court, and bike rack.

Grays Subdivision: 1103 Reita Road, Savannah, GA 31410; 1 Acre, includes a parking lot, playground, basketball court, and pavilion.

Hodge Turner: 541 Shipyard Road, Savannah, GA 31406; 1.6 Acres, includes a parking lot, basketball court, and playground.

Isle of Hope: 407 Parkersburg Road, Savannah, GA 31406; 1 Acre, includes a parking lot and playground.

JC Cannon Fields: 4 Lang Street, Savannah, GA 31410; 1.8 Acres, includes a parking lot and two softball fields.

Bertha Mae Cummings: 5102 ACL Boulevard, Savannah, GA 31405; 2 Acres, includes a pavilion, basketball court, and playground.

Ogeechee Farms: 7715 Yemasee Road, Savannah, GA 31419; 4.75 Acres, includes a basketball court and parking lot.

Rio Vista: 375 Island Road, Savannah, GA 31406; 1 Acre, includes a parking lot, playground, and lighted multi-use court for pickleball, tennis, and basketball.

Westlake: 1971 Westlake Avenue, Savannah, GA 31405; 1.2 Acres, includes a pavilion, basketball court, and playground.

Bona Bella: 2778 Carmel Avenue, Savannah, GA 31406; 5.7 Acres, includes a playground.
