Description

Abolt-Obrien Soccer Field serves as a practice field for many area teams throughout the soccer season and provides overflow from the nearby Charles C. Brooks sports complex.

Located at 7020 Concord Road on Wilmington Island, the field also hosts other community events and activities such as outdoor yoga sessions, lacrosse tournaments, and even Easter Egg hunts.  Convenient off-street paved parking is available, along with restrooms and a concessions building.

Abolt-O’Brien Park was dedicated in 2010 to honor the four decades of service of Father Patrick O’Brien and to honor the memory of Wilmington Island resident Tisha Abolt, whose life of service was tragically cut short.
