Jennifer Ross

Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex is a busy midtown spot for local soccer and football, with 8 lighted multipurpose grass athletic fields, 3 lighted synthetic turf multipurpose athletic fields. The complex also offers bleachers, concessions, and restrooms with showers and changing areas.

Paved parking is located at the end of the complex off Sallie Mood Drive, and a paved single-lane road runs through the middle of the park, allowing wheeled access to all of the fields.

Named for local athlete Jennifer Liscomb Ross, who died at just 19, the park stays busy year-round with youth and adult leagues, school matches, tournaments, camps, and clinics.

Jennifer Liscomb Ross, for whom the park was named, was a young local athlete, lettering in soccer and volleyball as an undergrad and then playing both intramurally in college.  Her life was tragically ended at the age of just 19 years, but her name lives on through the Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex.
