Chatham County Parks & Recreation is thrilled to expand our reach into the Greenbriar Community, a place filled with promise, heart, and hope that has been transformed into a vibrant recreational hub for youth and seniors alike.
Greenbriar is centrally located within a half-mile of Alfred E. Beach High School, DeRenne Middle School, Hodge Elementary School, and Building Bridges (an alternative middle school) making it perfectly positioned to meet the needs of the surrounding communities.

Through recreation, after-school programs, mentorship, intergenerational activities and wellness opportunities; we are creating a safe and welcoming space where young people can dream, seniors can connect, and families can grow stronger together.

At Greenbriar Gym, we are not just opening doors- we are building bridges that unite hearts, inspire purpose and strengthen the future of individuals and communities.
When communities have access to enriching programs and safe spaces to gather, the results are transformative. Recreational and educational experiences foster belonging, reduce crimes by providing positive outlets for youth and promote mental and physical well-being for residents of all ages.

They also strengthen community pride, and create intergenerational connections that keep neighborhoods safe, active, and engaged.
