Tom Triplett Park

Located at 100 Tom Triplett Road in Pooler, Tom Triplett Community Park includes nearly 200 acres of greenspace, offering something for everyone. The centerpiece of the park is the 19-acre lake, which is stocked with catfish, bass, and bream. A well-lit, paved track follows the one-and-a-half-mile path around the lake, and there is also a large, handicap-accessible lakeside pavilion, which can be reserved for private events. The pavilion also has a separate, enclosed meeting room.

Other features include playgrounds, tennis courts, an 18-hole disc golf course, two dog parks, open greenspace, and various trails.

The park is also a historically recognized stop on the Civil War Heritage Trail.  Markers and information stations give a historical account of the Union Army’s March to the Sea as General Sherman encamped on this land in his approach to Savannah in 1864.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week

Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed if on a leash no longer than six feet or in the fenced dog park. Owners must clean up after their dogs and must not leave dogs unattended at any time in or near the park. Pets are not allowed in park buildings, on athletic fields or courts.

Service Animals: Allowed when serving in a working capacity in accordance with the Revised Americans with Disabilities Act Service Animal Requirements.
