Aquatic Center

The Chatham County Aquatic Center opened in 1996 and was originally designed as a training venue for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Today, the Aquatic Center is a premier aquatics hub for all of Chatham County!

The Aquatic Center offers swim lessons, lap swimming, swim meets, CPR and lifeguard certification, and more.  In 2020, the Aquatic Center underwent extensive renovations to include a pool resurfacing project, new LED lighting throughout the facility, and underwater lighting to both pools. The locker rooms and restrooms received a fresh coat of paint and updated plumbing in the shower areas.

Pet Policy: Dogs are not allowed at the Chatham County Aquatic Center

Service Animals: Allowed when serving in a working capacity in accordance with the Revised Americans with Disabilities Act Service Animal Requirements.
