Jennifer Ross

A bustling midtown hub for local field sports, Jennifer Ross Soccer Complex is more often than not teaming with soccer or football players and those there to cheer them on.  Located at 7221 Sallie Mood Drive, the expansive sports park encompasses eight lighted grass fields and three lighted turf fields, allowing multiple practices or matches to take place simultaneously. 

Throughout the complex are a variety of amenities, including player dugouts, spectator bleachers (some wheelchair accessible), full concessions, and heated/cooled restrooms with showers and dressing areas.  Generous paved parking is located at the end of the complex off of Sallie Mood Drive, and a paved single-lane road runs through the middle of the park, allowing wheeled access to all of the fields on either side.

Jennifer Liscomb Ross, for whom the park was named, was herself a young local athlete, lettering in soccer and volleyball as an undergrad and then playing both intramurally in college.  Her life was tragically ended at the age of just 19 years, but her name lives on in the park that is always alive with athletes of all ages. Pet Policy: Service Dogs are permitted when officially serving in a working capacity in accordance with the Revised Americans with Disabilities Act Service Animal Requirements.  All dogs must be leashed  and waste must be removed.
